WeedFree was founded in 2010 by Joe Lalor. Joe is highly qualified in weed control and pesticide application, with qualifications including PA1 Foundation Module [Safe use of Pesticides], PA6 Pesticide application [Handheld applicators] and Lantra Safe Application of Pesticides to Land & Water with 25 years’ experience in the agriculture and pesticide industries. Joe holds a current Safepass card and Manual Handling certificate. Joe diversified into the management of Invasive weeds ten years ago with projects controlling Japanese knotweed and Giant Hogweed for Sligo Co. Co. Joe has been initiating the successful treatment of knotweed since 2011. In 2020, Joe successfully managed knotweed and giant hogweed eradication projects for Sligo Co Co, IDA Ireland, and numerous private customers. Joe expanded his business in 2020 to specialise in invasive weed control whilst also investing in specialist equipment and techniques to control invasive weeds. All work is completed to the highest standards to ensure excellent results in conjunction with the responsible use of pesticides. All work is carried out to minimise the impact on the environment and in accordance with best practices. Work always completed on a timely basis to customer satisfaction.
